SV	Toen Jakob hoorde, dat hij zijn dochter Dina verontreinigd had, zo waren zijn zonen met het vee in het veld; en Jakob zweeg, totdat zij kwamen.
WLC	וְיַעֲקֹ֣ב שָׁמַ֗ע כִּ֤י טִמֵּא֙ אֶת־דִּינָ֣ה בִתֹּ֔ו וּבָנָ֛יו הָי֥וּ אֶת־מִקְנֵ֖הוּ בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה וְהֶחֱרִ֥שׁ יַעֲקֹ֖ב עַד־בֹּאָֽם׃
Trans.	wəy^a‘ăqōḇ šām^a‘ kî ṭimmē’ ’eṯ-dînâ ḇitwō ûḇānāyw hāyû ’eṯ-miqənēhû baśśāḏeh wəheḥĕriš y^a‘ăqōḇ ‘aḏ-bō’ām:

AC	ה ויעקב שמע כי טמא את דינה בתו ובניו היו את מקנהו בשדה והחרש יעקב עד באם
ASV	Now Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter; and his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they came.
BE	Now Jacob had word of what Shechem had done to his daughter; but his sons were in the fields with the cattle, and Jacob said nothing till they came.

ELB05	Und Jakob hörte, daß er seine Tochter Dina entehrt hatte; seine Söhne aber waren mit seinem Vieh auf dem Felde, und Jakob schwieg, bis sie kamen.
LSG	Jacob apprit qu'il avait déshonoré Dina, sa fille; et, comme ses fils étaient aux champs avec son troupeau, Jacob garda le silence jusqu'à leur retour.
Sch	Jakob aber hatte vernommen, daß man seine Tochter Dina entehrt hatte; weil aber seine Söhne beim Vieh auf dem Felde waren, so schwieg er, bis sie kamen.
